About Worcester Bowls Club

New members, playing or social, beginners or seasoned players and visitors are all welcome. Make new friends in welcoming surroundings with varied activities throughout the year.

Worcester Bowls Club, situated in a quiet, almost unknown area in the centre of Worcester city, has been in the same location since 1867. The club has a bar, large social area, kitchen, changing rooms and disabled toilet facilities.

The club caters for bowlers of all levels of bowling ability. There are two certified coaches who are waiting to introduce you to all aspects of the game. The coaches can take the complete novice to a level where they are happy to play amongst players of greater experience.

During the summer months the club fixtures include friendly matches against teams inside and outside the county, league matches in the Worcester and Malvern leagues and club competitions for the more competitive amongst us.

During the winter months there is short mat bowling for those who wish to keep their bowling arms moving. There are social evenings that include poker and other pub games, as well as the occasional quiz night.
